Modeling

Step 1

Helix is the base shape of the fan.

Adjust the formula to create the crease of the fan.

Step 2

Use spline wrap to map the formula to the helix and use the lathe to give it volume.

Step 3

Create a redshift standard material and add a ramp node to create gradience.

Step 4

Copy and past the nodes in the metal brush to the standard material node panel.

Use a ramp and material layer to create the masking effect.
